ICAP – Innovative & Creative Air‑Conditioning Products
ICAP Pty Ltd evolved from the Western Australian division of the Dunn Air Conditioning National Group, a name long associated with residential and commercial air‑conditioning across Australia since the 1960s.
Steve Irons has worked with the Dunn Group since 1981, supplying high‑quality air‑conditioning solutions to the WA mining, commercial, industrial and residential sectors. His project experience includes the Argyle Diamond Mine, UWA and Curtin University student accommodation, Thornlie Shopping Centre and numerous other major developments.
ICAP is the Australian & New Zealand distributor for Italian manufacturer Innova, in which Panasonic holds a 40% ownership stake. Innova continues to expand its unique product range, including advanced systems designed for Passivhaus and other high‑performance building standards. The flagship Innova 2.0 air‑conditioning system — now in its 6th generation — delivers full performance without an outdoor unit, providing architects, consultants and contractors with a practical solution for apartments, student accommodation, offices and heritage buildings where condenser or plant‑room space is unavailable or undesirable.
The broader Innova range includes chilled‑water and heating products long associated with the Dunn Group. Their design quality and versatility suit a wide range of commercial and residential applications across Australia. ICAP continues to work closely with architects, mechanical consultants, contractors and clients to deliver these innovative solutions.
ICAP also has a strong history in large‑scale CHW fan‑coil supply, including more than 400 Sinko units for the Sheraton Hotel refurbishment, along with projects such as The Duxton, Mantra on Murray, The Vines Resort, Murdoch University, Curtin University, Joondalup Resort and The Esplanade Fremantle.
With decades of service to the WA building and construction industry, ICAP remains committed to supporting its valued clients and delivering high‑quality, innovative air‑conditioning products for years to come.
